Alin and Alina, two puppies found on the side of a national road

It is sometimes very frustrating to live in a country where our ongoing struggle to improve the lives of innocent animals gets stepped on almost on a daily basis. And  I say "sometimes" only  to help us go on in this crazy world, otherwise utterly frustrating for the defenders of those without a voice.
The perfect example is the case of these two innocent puppies we found by chance in the middle of the night on the side of one of the busiest national roads in Romania. It was clear they were meant to become road kill, otherwise why abandon such defenseless creatures in the middle of nowhere, with no real chance for survival? The SUST Orphan Animal Hospital Bucharest medical team was just returning from a massive free spay/neuter project in Sibiu, where we helped to spay/neuter almost 400 dogs and cats, literally saving thousands of unborn animals from a life of suffering and neglect and then we find them, left for dead, for no other reason than people's indifference and irresponsibility.

Alina

Alin

We were heartbroken to hear their desperate cry and witness their rush to come into our cars' headlights, just to make sure they are not invisible one more time in their short lives and that someone decides to help them; and that someone was our team, all of us were happy and kissing them to death after they spend God knows how much time under a trash bin. But for us, the real beauty lies beyond appearences.

This sign says that the disposal of garbage of any sort is illegal and will be fined with very large sums.
The puppies were found near this sign.

Alin and Alina will have a great life and they will put all this horror behind them; we already are making everything possible so they are happy and safe. They need to have their vaccines, so their lives take the right turn and they never have to worry about anything in their lives. We need your kind support to make sure of that.

Although our team is in love with them and grateful we were there at the perfect time to save them, we are continuously praying for those unlucky souls, who aren't found in time and whose lives pass by, unknown, unheard and unloved.
If you wish to support our mission and show compassion towards those who had none so far, please donate here: https://www.susyutzinger.ch/en/Donate
Thank you for your care and trust in our cause!

Maty, a very scared tomcat

Maty came to us about a month ago, he was found on the street by an old, poor man; he seemed to have had an accident of so...
